Your personal data is yours. We don’t sell it, trade it, or share it. We use it only to keep you safe and to make TrulyUs work the way it should. For ID verification, we use Veriff, a secure third-party service. TrulyUs never stores your ID photos or documents — we only keep the confirmation that you’re verified.

Only if you choose. You can share your Verified Passport number with someone you meet, and they can check it — but nobody can access it without your permission. Think of it as proof of integrity in dating: show it to friends or potential partners to spark trust (and maybe even a conversation).

On TrulyUs, members can have up to three active conversations at any one time. When a conversation ends, that slot opens up for a new conversation. This design reduces wasted time, discourages endless dragging-out, and helps everyone be deliberate about the connections that matter. If a connection has moved into real life, by mutual agreement the conversation can be marked as ‘Moved to Offline.’ The chat then shifts into your ‘Memory Bank’: the full history is preserved for reference, but no new posts can be added. This way, your three conversations stay focused while important details — like a birthday, or an aunt’s name you’ll want to remember — are never lost.

You can report concerns directly in the app. If something happens with a Verified Passport holder in real life, you can still report it — we take every report seriously and act quickly to protect the community.

We use AI to protect the community — spotting harmful behavior, flagging concerns, keeping things respectful, and escalating issues to a human when needed. AI can also help you write your best biography and suggest natural conversation starters based on context like time of day or season. In 'End Gracefully' AI is available to make suggestions (polite, warm, or light humor in tone) on how to gracefully close out a conversation with someone you’ve matched with, but where you’ve decided to close. What AI does not do is decide who you see: matching is based only on the criteria you set. There is no TrulyUs algorithm, and definitely no AI algorithm controlling your connections.

Anyone can take the Integrity Pledge and create an unverified Passport at no cost. Verified Passport carry a $5 one-time fee to cover ID verification, and access to the dating community is $10/month to keep TrulyUs secure and scam-free. There are no in-app purchases, no 'premium tiers,' and no advertising — everyone gets the same experience.

We will launch when there are enough verified Passport holders for a safe, vibrant community. That way, from the moment you join, you’re meeting real people — not waiting for the party to start. The good news: even before launch, your Passport is yours to use. Share it IRL to show friends (or potential partners) that you’re serious about integrity in dating — it might even spark a romantic conversation or two.
